Ace little tabletop wire bookstand March 8, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This bookstand is what any student, researcher, or writer needs, but didn't know that they needed. I had always had trouble with quoting, analyzing, and reading from my books and articles while trying to type up papers. A bookstand was suggested to me, and lo! has it helped me greatly. Now I can open a book, or rest a journal article on it, looking at it while I type.
A nice bonus of this stand is that it is double sided. One side has grips that come up to hold open stiff books. The other side is more for laying something against it, like a magazine.
A helpful device that you often don't realize you need, you will be grateful at how much assistance this little doohickey gives you!
This one actually works for books August 29, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Unlike the Insight Adjustable Book & Copy Holder, this one actually works for thicker books (and is less expensive to boot).
Nice Product! October 20, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like this. It holds books well. It is holding up well and gets the job done. It is more for books you put would put on a table or desk to read. Not for say taking on a bus to read a paperback. The flipklip is great for doing that. This one is more of a "I have to type from a textbook onto my computer" kind of thing. It holds all books but thick volumes like a dictionary. This one is great for holding a cookbook while you are stirring a pot, for learning to type and it holding the book open, for hardbacks that you just don't want to hold with your hands and have it hold it open for you, things like that.
just what I needed December 29, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am a law student and was getting sick of leaning over my books all the time. I bought this and it has worked well. My books fit into it and it is portable. Sure if I designed a book holder it would be a bit different, but I didn't and this one serves its purpose.

I travel a lot and always take a book to read. It never fails that when I am eating in public and reading with my book holder that someone always asks where I got this item. I never go anywhere without it.
