| Customer Reviews:
my chair January 3, 2009 Well, it wasn't cheap. But after 4 years, I don't really think about that. This is a great chair, and I haven't had any back problems, ever at all, since I got it. I work 8-16 hours a day, and the Aeron never lets me down. Cheaper than a chiropractor!
The Humanscale Freedom and Steelcase Leap are also excellent chairs. I did consider them too. In my few minutes of testing, they seemed to be almost as comfortable, and didn't need the 10 minutes of adjustments that I had to give the Aeron before I was really comfy in it. But ultimately, I bought the "size C executive aeron polished" because
#1: It was still comfortable after I started to sweat #2: The armrests felt just right under my forearms #3: Herman Miller! In 15 years, I will have no trouble getting even the most esoteric part for this chair.
I love my chair.
Note: The shiny silver finish, "full adjustability", and "lumbar support" are near-worthless unless you have to impress minions. If you're paying for this yourself, save many hundreds of dollars and just buy the basic chair with leather armrests (you don't want the sticky plastic standard armrests).
