Laptop Stand/Computer table July 14, 2008 Aloha_Jackie (Sunny San Diego) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
L-O-V-E I-T!!! Purchased this wonderful cart/rolling computer laptop table in March and ADORE it! I couldn't have chosen a better model! The cart is so easy to use, simply roll it up to you while you sit on the couch or bed. Watch tv while you key on your laptop and check email or the internet. Use this in similar ways that you would use a tv tray only you can slide it out of the way, base goes under the couch/bed, and walk away when not in use. The tilted surface is a nice ergonomic plus, as well as the frosty adult beverage holder/mousepad surface that stays flat. The price was right and the color fits in perfectly with my decorating scheme. Originally, I saw a similar item in one of the inflight magazines (think Robin Leach...these are things you'll never be able to afford...)- and found it on Amazon! Get one if you can!
The best ergonomic solution October 30, 2009 L. E. Malka 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have only one thing to say about this caddy - it's perfect. Don't let the price mislead you. It is of exceptional quality. Everything is well built. Nothing is wobbly. It glides like water. I am using it in combination with an office chair, the ones that come with arm rests. I was initially concerned that the base of the chair would not allow me to sit close enough to the caddy (because in the picture the caddy seems to have a big base). However, it turns out that the caddy fits perfectly. It's almost like it was designed for use with an office chair. The other thing I like about it, is that you can push it and it would move effortlessly- even on a rug. This means that if you get up regularly and get back to the chair, you don't need to set it up every time. It's even easier than using the desk at my office! One last thing about the materials- they are solid, and they do not look cheap. I am very thrilled with this caddy! BTW - my friend got it from a company in Vancouver, Canada, and he is also very pleased (the price was just a few bucks more, but free shipping).
very good laptop caddy May 22, 2010 A. Souri 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
the pic is incorrect, there is 4 rollers not 3
good wood type, very strong and well finished
composed of two portions, the big one which holds the laptop is tilt enabled with 3 angles from the Horizontal plane. the tilting can be done in two directions clockwise and counter CW, lets say the tilting angle is 45 degree per one direction (\ or /). there are 2 guards (1cm in height) to prevent the laptop from sliding on steep tilting angles (the black lines in the pic)
the small one which is fixed, I use it for the mouse pad.
the height is adjustable from 60cm up to 110cm
the rollers are lockable
the metal frame is strong enough and well finished too
great buy June 1, 2009 Alicia (Tucson, Arizona) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I highly recommend this laptop caddy. I purchased it after I was put on bed rest in my 24th week of pregnancy. It is light weight but very sturdy. I am able to comfortably work from my bed or sofa.
Good value for the money March 24, 2010 H. Woodum I have been using this unit for about 3-4 weeks now and it has served my purposes well. Upon assembly, I discovered that one of the screws for the base was a little short so I just went to the hardware store and picked a longer one with the same diameter. It worked like a charm. No, it's not a solid oak desk with a heavy base, but I did not expect or even want that. It is plenty sturdy for me, but I don't press hard when I type. There is very little movement as a result. I use it flat, that is, I don't tilt it. I also pull a chair right up to it with no problem. People have complained about not being able to fit the legs under the couch or the bed, but I don't use it that way. Since the legs are raised, I can fit my feet up under them if I want to. Perfect. I think those that were disappointed with the way the legs were designed, should have done more research and asked more questions before they made a purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a small portable table top that doesn't take up a lot of room.
